Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary news coming in June

During the Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier Official Broadcast #2: Half Anniversary Special livestream creative director Tetsuya Nomura said that Square Enix will share Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary related news this June.

Nomura did not say what game it will be about. Most likely Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, a mobile game set for release this year. Back in January, in the previous livestream, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase teased “And as for the Final Fantasy VII Remake news you’ve been waiting on, I think I’ll be able to share more this year… maybe…”. Let's hope next month more information will be released of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is the first game that has reimagined the original Final Fantasy VII and is set in the place of Midgar. It was released back in 2020 on PlayStation 4. In 2021 an enhanced version was released on PlayStation 5 called Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
