Kikizo, a gaming website specialized in interviews got the chance to interview Square Enix Cooperate director Shinji Hashimoto and Final Fantasy series producer Yoshinori Kitase about Final Fantasy XIII.
Here's a summary of the interview:
- According to them Final Fantasy VII was the first game that was enjoyed by the overseas public and that they might been too conscious with removing Japanese elements from the game.
- They are currently working on the PlayStation 3 version and are going to complete it first before moving to the Xbox 360. They are in the state that they can put the build on blu-ray discs and test it.
- They will not adjust the quality of the game now that the game will also be released on Xbox 360.
- They wanted to release it earlier in Japan on PlayStation 3, but they first had to get more experienced with the new hardware.- The scenario is good as done and the art assets are 80% complete.
- Lightning, which is not her real name, will be the main character.
- All Fabula Nova Crystallis games have a different director and are based on the "crystal mythology".
