Triangle Strategy coming to PC this October

Square Enix has announced that Triangle Strategy, a turn-based strategy RPG that was released in March on Nintendo Switch, will be released on PC via Steam on 13 October 2022.

Triangle Strategy is a HD-2D tactical role playing game, from the team of developers who brought the Bravely series and Octopath Traveler, where three nations battle for control of the dwindling resources of salt and iron.

Pre-orders for the game are now open on Steam. You can choose between the base game, a deluxe editon which comes with a digital mini-artbook and a bundle that comes with the game Various Daylife, which was recently released (also on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch).

In the latest Nintendo Direct Square Enix and Nintendo has announced that Triangle Strategy, previously known as Project Triangle Strategy, will be released on 4 March 2022 worldwide.

In February this year a debut demo was released that has been downloaded approximately 1 million times. Over 25,000 survey responses were sent to the development team that are currently making several adjustment to the final version of the game. Like you can now change the difficulty level of the battles. On Nintendo's website you can read the full article including the list of adjustments that are currently in development.

During the Nintendo Direct episode of 17 February 2021 Nintendo and Square Enix has announced a new tactical 2D HD RPG game in the same setting as Octopath Traveler with the working title Project Triangle Strategy.

In the full trailer several aspects of the game is shown. The battles take place on an isometric tactical grid, which looks a lot like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. The story is about three nations battle for control of the dwindling resources of salt and iron. During the story you have to make several choices, which will take you on a different path.

Project Triangle Strategy will be released on Nintendo Switch in 2022. For fans who can't play to play this game, the debut demo can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop.
