Here are the abilities you can learn during the game.
¤ Special Abilities
Name | Description |
Flee | Help in escaping from a battle! |
Pray | Heals small amount to entire party. |
Cheer | Increases party's strength and defense. |
Aim | Decreases party's Accuracy. |
Focus | Decrease's magic and magic defense. |
Reflex | Increases party's evasion. |
Luck | Raise's party's evasion, accuracy and critical hit rate. |
Jinx | Decreases enemies luck. |
Lancet | Drain MP and HP from enemy. Use to gain new overdrives for Kimahri. |
Guard | Take hit for players. Cannot use for magic or whole party hits. |
Threaten | Stuns the enemy with fear! |
Provoke | Draws enemy to caster. |
Entrust | Give the users Overdrive gauge to another character |
Copycat | Copies last action done. Invalid for overdrives and summons. |
Doublecast | Cast two black magic spells in a row. |
Bribe | Pays enemy for kind gesture. More Gil, the better. |

Dark Attack | Cast darkness on the enemy for 3 turns |
Dark Buster | Cast darkness on enemy but has practically a 100% chance. |
Silence Attack | Cast silence on the enemy for 3 turns. |
Silence Buster | Cast silence on enemy but has practically a 100% chance. |
Sleep Attack | Cast sleep on the enemy for 3 turns. |
Sleep Buster | Cast sleep on enemy but has practically a 100% chance. |
Delay Attack | Delays the enemy's next turn. |
Delay Buster | Greatly delays the enemy's next turn. |
Zombie Attack | Cast zombie on the enemy. |
Triple Foul | Cast sleep darkness and silence for next 3 turns. |
Power Break | Decreases one enemy's strength. |
Magic Break | Decreases one enemy's magic defense |
Armor Break | Decrease enemies defense and takes away their armor. |
Mental Break | Decreases the enemy's magic defense. |
Mug | Same as "steal" but also does damage. |
Quick Hit | Quickly attacks enemy and turn comes sooner! |
