Side Quests » Shumi Tribe

Shumi Village is full of strange little people and Moombas. Here you can do two side quests.

¤ Five Stones Quest

1. First speak to the sculptor whose house is located past the pound at the very end of the village. He tells you to go speak with the elder. His house is the one with the Moomba outside.

2. Once you have spoken with the elder, head back to the sculptor and speak with him again. He tells you to find five stones for him. Agree to do it and begin your search.

3. The first stone he's asking for is the Blue Stone. The Blue Stone is right next to the statue in the sculptor's room. Inspect the large grey rock to the left and you'll find it. Easy huh?

4. The Wind Stone is located to the left of the hotel. Inspect the large grey stone outside there to find it. Get back to the sculptor.

5. To acquire the Life Stone inspect the tree roots to the right of the elder's house. Get back to the sculptor.

6. Head back up the surface with the lift. Search the area by the big copper pipe in the top right of the screen to find the Shadow Stone. Then head back to sculptor to get the last stone.

7. The final stone is located at Artisan's house by the sink. His house is the house next to sculptor's.

8. Once you have delivered all the five stones the sculptor tells you to go and see the elder again. The stingy miser will reward you with a glance at his hands (apparently it's an honour). When you want to leave, his assistant will give you a Phoenix Pinion.

¤ Get the Status Guard

There is still another task to complete here, but you need to leave and re-enter the village. Head into sculptor's room and speak with both villagers. After spoken to them, go to the elder. Speak to the Moomba and follow it to the workshop and speak with the assistant. Keep speaking to the elder and his assistant until the assistant says they need craftsman. Speak with the Artisan and then the elder before traveling to FH and find the grease monkey. He gives you a Moomba doll which needs to be taken back to Artisan in Shumi Village. The elder will give you a Status Guard.
