Also in Kingdom Hearts II you can cast summons, but its different. When casting a summon your party members will disappear and make place for the summon. Like Drives Summons also have a gauge that will gradually decrease when a summon has been casted. When it hits 0 the summon will be dismissed. During the time the summon is casted you can cast some special abilities and perform a limit break. Limit breaks however costs drive bars. Summons gain experience by each used summon gauge. When they level up you can use the summons longer.
In the original Kingdom Hearts you could choose between 7 different summons. In Chain of Memories you could choose between 6 and in Kingdom Hearts II between 4 summons only.
¤ Chicken Little
Obtained: Merlin when first visiting Hallow Bastion.
Actions: Balls, Firecracker, Whistle, Balsam
Limit: FPS Mode
FPS Mode can be casted when the enemy is nearby. During this limit you see everything in first-person and you can use the commands Balls and Firecracker.
¤ Genie
Obtained: After defeating the Volcanic Lord and Blizzard Lord in Agrabah.
Actions: Balsam
Limit: Sonic Rave, Strike Raid, Final Arcana, Infinity
After you've summoned Genie the party command changes into Drive?. You can choose between "Valor" Genie, "Wisdom" Genie, "Master" Genie and "Final" Genie. However, you must first mastered the equivalent drive before you can cast it.
¤ Stitch
Obtained: Treasure chest in Hallow Bastion.
Actions: Counter Fire, Ukulele, Licking
Limit: Ohanai
During Ohanai you cannot move and only use the commands Shoot, Ukulele and Blast.
¤ Peter Pan
Obtained: Treasure chest in the Interceptor's Hold at the Ship Graveyard in Port Royal.
Actions: Stab, Double Strike, Multistab, Healing
Limit: Never Land
During this limit break you can cast Never Land, Tiny Fairy and The Flying Boy.
